Dunoon is a Staffordshire based family business producing high quality mugs since 1974.

Fine Bone China clays are sourced from Cornwall, S.W. England, creating a piece that is brilliant white, translucent and yet very resilient. With a commitment to manufacturing to the highest standards, it is company policy to use traditional skills. Dunoon craftsmen use a process known as 'slip casting' (using liquid clay; not machine made) to achieve a finished mug that is fine to the touch, light to hold and a pleasure to use.

Designs are created by both a talented 'in-house' design team and a wide portfolio of gifted freelance artists, many of whom have been associated with Dunoon for over 25 years.

High quality glazes and prints ensure accurate colour reproduction of all designs capturing all the detail and rich shades intended by the designer.

Throughout every stage of the manufacturing process each one of our products is handled by a skilled craftsman, maintaining Dunoon's reputation of nearly 40 years of excellence in pottery making.
